Living a healthy life may simply mean getting regular meals, that is, three meals a day at regular times. We should not starve ourselves or feed ourselves with too much. Further, these should be healthy and balanced meals.

It also helps to have only a moderate alcohol intake, or if possible, no alcohol at all. No smoking, in addition, will also lead to a healthy lifestyle.

What’s more, to be healthy, it is also important to get enough or adequate sleep. Minimum is at six hours per night and maximum is at eight hours per night. There should also be regular exercise, at least, 15 minutes and three times per week. One should also be at moderate weight, or within 5 pounds of ideal.

To make yourself even more healthy, you should also avoid, or minimize at least, those stress-provoking situations. These situations may include having unprotected sex, which risks yourself of getting sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies, and possibly having not-so-healthy babies. Criminal offences and drug-taking may also cause stress, so it is best to avoid situations to stay being healthy at all times.

The secret to maintaining one’s health throughout the years is really maintaining proper diet, exercise and healthy habits. One should have a successful and balanced lifestyle and practice healthy choices.
