It is the only planet, inside the particular solar system that it belongs to, presently known to have an abundant source of liquid water and an atmosphere that supports life. In short, the Earth is the most valuable treasure that all of humanity could ever have and that the responsibility of taking care of it bears more weight than any of the other responsibilities that the worlds of man demand put together.
