Activities
Nobody enjoy spending long hours on the road, or the boring long air-plane ride. Travelling for a long number of hours can be distressing, especially for kids who love the outdoor, and who enjoy interactive physical activity. Long travel hours can also be hard on adults who are trying to keep the kids occupied and are trying to grapple with the repetitive are-we-there-yet question. So, before you hit the road with your children or with your young charges, packed a bag of toys and activities that will make the long trip seems like a short one.
Cycling Activity
Following are travel activities (gathered from the advice of various travel experts) which guarantee a fun and enjoyable long ride.
Hangman. This game is played by having your opponent guess the letters for the word you have chosen. In each letter your opponent wrongly guessed, add a body part to the hangman, starting with the head.
Tic-tac-toe. This involves two players taking turns writing Xs and Os. Whoever gets 3 Xs or Os in a row wins.
Cootie Catcher. A fortune telling game in which player asks questions and the holder answers by looking up at the number or colour the player has chosen.
I Spy. This is played by picking out an object and giving a clue on about that object which everyone can see. Whoever correctly guesses the object becomes the next spy.
It is also worth trying to entertain kids on the road with card games, paper crafts, portable arts and craft kit, board games, and travel bingo.
